One must truly respect the tenacity of a communist. They are like a child seeking a cookie jar and they will go to whatever lengths necessary to get to their prize. For the communist, control over other individuals is the prize and power by authority is their means – their cookie jar. Whether the power position is dogcatcher, teacher, CEO, or president, the communist uses the power of their relative position as authoritative dominion over whomever or whatever they command. The reason I say respect the communist is, in their insatiable thirst for power, they never admit defeat. A loss to a communist, is merely a setback and an opportunity to regroup and reattack. For no matter what, the communist's eye is ever on the cookie jar and there are no moral restraints in their quest for their coveted control goal.
A perfect example of this scenario is Twitter (now X Corp.) As Twitter became the number one platform for disseminating and amplifying journalist's work in the years leading up to the 2020 elections, the communist sought positions of power within all levels of that organization. From the lowest level of content manager all the way up to the board of directors, the communists used their power within the organization to throttle or eliminate the speech of their political opponents. In this effort they were unabashed. Whether it was denying that Twitter shadow banned content it didn't like, suspended users for nebulous and clearly one-sided rule infractions or lied to congress under oath about how it managed these arbitrary methods of censorship, the communist had no moral objection to using their power at Twitter to get to the cookie jar.
Then came the great disruption in the communist universe of 2022. One, Elon Musk, bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars and promised to restore the platform to equal speech for all and to expose Twitter's extraordinary abuse of the power upon its political enemies. News of this unprecedented event among journalist resulted in much rendering of garments and gnashing of teeth. Elon did some housekeeping at Twitter, fired a bunch of commies and exposed the clearly blatant political abuse that permeated the entire Twitter ecosystem. He even restored President Trump's Twitter account.
Though free speech advocates cheered Elon for freeing the “wrong thinking” political dissidents "jailed" by Twitter's heavy thumb on the free speech scale, the communists never wavered. They ever sought an avenue back to power, back to controlling speech and crushing political enemies at Twitter. When Musk took over Twitter, many banned users returned and millions of people that previously avoided the unequal distribution of political propaganda platform all together (such as yours truly) joined Twitter in anticipation of a fair and equal shot at idea reach. But the communists knew something that we did not, they knew that billionaire savants get bored easily. Elon is now off to whatever shiny new business venture that entertains him, and he has installed a replacement CEO at X Corp (formally Twitter.) And just like that, the communists are back in charge of the number one "journalist" platform for distribution of biased content.
Musk has appointed, Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of X Corp. Her communist’s pedigree roots run deep. And as they say, you know the fruit by the roots of its tree. Ms. Yaccarino roots into leftist global power centers are attached to some truly foul soil. A quick internet search returns that Yaccarino hails from Deer Park on Long Island and she is a graduate from Pennsylvania State University's Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. Ever seeking the levers of journalistic control, Yaccarino's career trajectory took her to Turner Entertainment for 15 years and then to NBCUniversal. On top of her communication background, Yaccarino joined the Ad Council in 2014 where she partnered with the Biden administration in 2021 to create a coronavirus vaccine campaign. In 2018, President Donald Trump appointed her to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. Yaccarino resigned from NBCUniversal on May 12, 2023, and on the same day Elon Musk announced that she would be the new Chief Executive Officer of X Corp. and Twitter. It has also been reported by Financial Times that Yaccarino also worked with the granddaddy of communist world domination organizations, the World Economic Forum.
Indeed, those are some deep roots into multiple organizations that advocate for an elite class of public / private lords and ladies to rule over us. Some would say that mere association with the cadre of left-leading and anti-free speech organizations does not necessarily make one a communist. True, I graduated from the Karl Marx loving Hamline University and managed not to fall under the communist spell that permeates my alma mater. However, in Yaccarino's case, she removed the benefit of any doubt of her political persuasion when she gave this interview (see here) as X Corp's newly minted CEO.
In this interview, Yaccarino, in the Wormtounge language of a true devotee of the dark lord itself, brazenly made the case that freedom of speech does not mean freedom to reach. This is merely a cute new slogan for the old term called “shadow banning.” And with it, Elon Musk's X Corp is right back on its pre-Musk free speech shakedown mission of using its internal Stasi to root out all political subversives. The communist never admits defeat, all setbacks are opportunities to reevaluate their mission, adjust their language, and plan their next attack on freedom.
With Elon’s move at X Corp, my posting days on that platform appear numbered. For surely the algorithm overlords of X will spot the hate in my writing and throttle my reach on that platform. To simplify the AI bots’ task at eliminating my speech I will write in their preferred #language. For surely anyone who dares scribe posts with these words of hate shall be in Yaccarino’s crosshairs for elimination of reach:
· #USConstitution
· #BillofRights
· #IndividualResponsibility
· #1stAmendment
· #NoLegislationWithoutRepresentation
For now, I will continue publish freedom concepts on Substack. For it seems to be an equal free-speech platform, supporting the entire spectrum of political thought from Robert Reich to Alex Berenson. But make no mistake, the pen is mightier than the sword. And although the communist does not ignore the sword as they are currently infiltrating every echelon of the US Pentagon thus infecting the world's greatest military force with woke ideology, the dark forces of communism keep their eyes ever on the prize which is the control of the mighty pen. They have already regained control of X Corp. They most surely have their eyes set on Substack as well. I have no idea of who the owners are of this writing platform that I and many others utilize. Make no mistake, the communists are looking for a way to infiltrate and take control of this platform so that it can do to Substack what it has already done at X Corp., Facebook and nearly every journalist organization on the planet.
As the child reaching for the cookie jar must be disciplined to end bad behavior, so too with the Communists. For that is all they understand. Moral reasoning, fairness and legal precedent mean absolutely nothing to the cookie jar seeking relativists. All they understand is a sharp rebuke and hearty swat on the ass. It is far past time thinking that a savior will emerge, a unifying person can be elected, or that a moral awakening will suddenly emerge in the minds of a communist and they will rationally relent from their pursuit of power. The communist only understands one deterrent, and one deterrent only. And that is the use of power against them.
With the power of God and all that is Biblically true, let us hope that the owners of Substack stay true to freedom of speech principles and that authors of all political stripes and flavors may continue to receive freedom of reach on this platform. Because, while Elon is off inventing new billionaire tech toys, the likes of Linda Yaccarino and other seekers of journalistic levers of control are conniving avenues of infiltration into every on-line platform that allows individuals to freely publish their ideas. And unless they are thoroughly, publicly, and legally smacked on their collective derrieres, the communists will not stop until they achieve the goal of global communication dominance and have the power to silence all who dare speak truth to that unforgiving power. For the communist flipping the relative freedom to reach coin, it is always “heads they win, tails we lose.”
As usual, I appreciate your work and feel as if I were chatting with a kindred spirit in a coffeehouse. Thank you
Bruce, well-written and on point. However, don’t forget …”greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world”. Christ Himself, when asked about when he was going to help his countrymen throw off their Roman yoke, simply said …“render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s”. Although this truism doesn’t help us in our deep desire to throw off our 21st century version of ‘Ceasar-esque overloads’ as quickly as we would like or hope, it does give one context and appreciation about how the human condition has been unhappy with its political/cultural state for millennia.
My personal way of coping these past 10 years+ ? No more (VERY little) TV… and then only sports. A highly selected/curated social media diet intended to unplug from the Borg-collective and gain perspective (daily) by focusing on our faith, family, community …and a quieter existence in the country.
And lest anyone reading this decides to dismiss these thoughts as those of possible bible-pounding Luddite-hermit …we just sold a large Amazon business doing nearly $60MM/yr in sales. We traveled coast to coast (via Motorcoach) for years building our clientele (mostly large Strategics) 90% of whom are all drinking the democratic kool-aid.
Perspective, prayer, a strong faith in the ‘words written in red’ …and a good dose of the Bruce Nelson’s of the world… are my personal kryptonnite-concoction gladly imbibed when the world creeps in a little too much.
Thank you for being a part of my weekly life. Keep it up!
